EFEK KOMBINASI SUHU DAN WAKTU EKSTRAKSI TERHADAP KOMPONEN SENYAWA EKSTRAK KULIT LIDAH BUAYA

Abstract


Kulit lidah buaya merupakan bagian terluar yang banyak mengandung senyawa-senyawa penting yang memiliki banyak fungsi dan diantaranya bersifat thermosensitif, sehingga diperlukan perlakuan yang tepat untuk memperoleh kualitas yang diinginkan. Senyawa penting kulit lidah buaya dapat diisolasi dengan proses ekstraksi. Suhu dan waktu ekstraksi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini bervariasi yaitu suhu 50oC,60oC,70oC, 80oC dan waktu 10, 20 dan 30 menit dan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap. Variasi waktu dan suhu yang dilakukan memperoleh perlakuan terbaik yaitu pada perlakuan ekstraksi suhu 80oC dan waktu 20 menit dengan hasil yang diperoleh aktivitas antioksidan 82,273%, total fenol 39,641 mg/g, vitamin C mg/g 153,640 mg/g, α-Tocoferol 159,220 mg/g; aloin 1,003 mg/g.
